Freeze the current approved price, currency, unit, pack, quantity tier, Incoterm and named place, then map the proposed price by SKU and effective order or shipment event. Separate material, conversion, labor, energy, packaging, freight, tariff, exchange-rate and other drivers without double counting. Request dated sources and explain formulas, offsets and prior reductions. Model the landed effect under the buyer’s actual scenario, route contractual and customs questions to authorized owners, and issue a versioned accept, reject, counter or hold decision.

List each die, fixture, gauge, special machine attachment, program-specific software or controlled data package with asset ID, product scope, owner, payer, amortization or acceptance status, current custodian and location, permitted use, condition, maintenance plan, tool-life assumption, capacity relationship, insurance or risk owner, modification history, access rights, transfer procedure and end-of-program disposition. Final legal terms must be reviewed for the actual jurisdiction and contract.

Confirm the characteristic, units, drawing revision and bilateral or unilateral specification; verify the measurement system and data source; identify machine, tool, cavity, shift, material lot, time window and subgroup logic; review stability before interpreting capability; check distribution assumptions, exclusions and sample independence; and require the raw or reviewable summary, calculation method, reaction rule and approval owner. Use the customer-agreed threshold, never a universal value invented for the article.

Freeze the product, drawing, process flow and document revisions, then select buyer-critical characteristics and trace each from requirement to process step, failure cause, prevention control, detection control, measurement method, sampling or monitoring frequency, reaction plan and retained record. Check the reverse path from an inspection result back to its requirement and risk. Do not request confidential process detail beyond the decision need, and do not treat a template or certification as proof that the actual wheel hub controls are aligned.

Start with the exact hub BOM and process route, identify the materials, components and external services whose change could affect product, evidence, capacity or compliance, and assign a disclosure level to each. Record approved source status, site or country when contractually relevant, dependency, qualification evidence, monitoring owner and notification trigger. Protect legitimate confidentiality through coded or third-party evidence when appropriate, but do not accept an unbounded ‘same supply chain’ assurance.

List each applicable customer document and clause, its revision and effective date, the affected products, markets and sites, the internal owner, supplier or sub-tier flow-down, implementing record, evidence location, compliance status, approved exception and review trigger. Keep legal, technical, catalog, packaging, logistics and commercial requirements in separate rows. Do not infer that an OEM CSR applies to an aftermarket order unless the contract or customer explicitly invokes it.

Name the exact wheel hub revision and reporting unit, then define the life-cycle boundary, geography, time period, methodology, allocation rules, primary and secondary data sources, data-quality indicators, exclusions and verification status. Ask the supplier to separate measured activity data, emission factors and calculated results. Preserve confidentiality by requesting the evidence needed for review rather than unbounded process detail. Do not compare PCF values until units, boundaries and methods are compatible.

Compare buyer and supplier records for legal parties, PO and revision, SKU and verified OE-reference mapping, product revision, quantity and unit, price and currency, taxes or fees, requested and confirmed dates, ship-to, Incoterm and named place, freight method, packaging, labels, required documents, quality gates and special instructions. Mark each line accepted, rejected or proposed for amendment. Do not let a schedule confirmation imply acceptance of unresolved product scope. Route variances to the correct commercial, quality, catalog or logistics owner and issue a final accepted amendment before execution.

Record the event, contact source and permitted follow-up, then confirm the person’s organization, role, market, channel and decision process. Ask for the actual sourcing task: OE-reference list, existing SKUs, vehicle applications, drawings, dimensions, target market, package, volume range and evidence requirements. Classify the lead as information request, catalog gap, sample review, active RFQ, partner inquiry or out of scope. Send a short answer-first follow-up with the missing fields and one next action. Create an RFQ only after product identity and commercial ownership are sufficiently clear, and close stale or duplicate records deliberately.

Create a product file that identifies the exact assembly, materials and components, producer and sites, manufacturing sequence, bill of materials, substantial changes, package configuration, commercial description and intended import destination. Link any prior ruling, broker decision or legal analysis to the same product revision and transaction context. Keep country of manufacture, country of shipment and preferential-origin eligibility as separate fields. Use precise plain-language descriptions and approved documents, then route HTS classification, origin, marking, valuation and program eligibility to the importer, broker or qualified customs adviser.

Obtain the full certificate and record the legal entity, site addresses, standard and revision, certificate number, issue and expiry dates, scope statement, certification body and accreditation information. Verify status with the issuing body, accreditation route or a recognized database such as IAF CertSearch when applicable. Compare the certified sites and activities with the actual supplier, manufacturing and service path. Track renewal before expiry and review suspension, withdrawal, scope or site changes. Keep certification evidence separate from product approval, process audit, inspection results and customer-specific requirements.

Create one case for each debit or chargeback and link it to the purchase order, acknowledgement, receipt, invoice, affected SKU and quantity, reason code, evidence, contract clause or agreed program rule, calculation, tax treatment, product disposition and requested remedy. Separate product nonconformance, shortage, freight damage, administrative variance and customer allowance because their owners and evidence differ. Send the supplier a complete, dated packet and track accept, reject, partial accept or request for evidence. Post credits and inventory adjustments only through approved finance and quality workflows, then close duplicate recovery paths.

Preserve the shipment identity, delivery record, package condition, labels, seal where relevant, photographs, counts, affected SKU and lot, product condition, invoice value basis and handling history. Note visible damage before acceptance when possible, but follow the actual carrier, contract, insurance and jurisdiction rules. Quarantine affected goods without destroying packaging or salvage value. Notify the responsible buyer, seller, carrier, forwarder and insurer as required, then submit the formal written claim through the authorized owner. Track inspection, mitigation, disposition, credit and recovery separately so inventory status does not depend on a pending claim.

Start with the buyer-approved order and product master, then compare the commercial invoice, packing list, transport document, booking or arrival notice, origin support, insurance or inspection records when required, and any broker-requested filing data. Reconcile seller, buyer, consignee, manufacturer, SKU description, quantity, unit, value, currency, package count, weights, marks, country data and route identifiers. Treat Incoterms as contract-allocation rules, not a complete compliance checklist. Route classification, valuation, origin and admissibility decisions to the importer, customs broker or qualified adviser for the actual destination and entry.

Define the wheel hub lines and customer commitments considered critical, then map the processes, sites, utilities, tooling, data, logistics and upstream inputs that could stop them. Ask for bounded recovery objectives, named crisis roles, communication triggers, alternate-path approval requirements and evidence from exercises or prior events. Verify dates, scope and ownership without demanding sensitive details that are unnecessary for the decision. Test one realistic scenario and record gaps. Continuity options that change origin, material, design, process, packaging or inspection must re-enter normal product and commercial approval before use.

Separate the commercial framework from each executable release. Define authorized SKUs and revisions, cumulative ceiling, release horizon, frozen window, acknowledgement method, price and freight triggers, allocation rules, cancellation exposure and end-of-term reconciliation. Forecasts should remain clearly nonbinding unless the contract says otherwise. Every call-off should carry a unique number and be checked against remaining quantity, destination, package and product status. Changes require a dated approval trail. Close the program by reconciling open releases, work in process, finished stock, claims and obsolete versions rather than simply letting the agreement expire.
